Grant Guidelines
The Cricket Island Foundation believes that the more a young person positively impacts his/her community or our society, the better. We fund community-based organizations that support, train, motivate, recognize and highlight young people directly impacting their communities and the world in the greatest possible way. Towards this end, we provide support to:
- Organizations committed to promoting authentic youth voice, leadership and action to solve serious problems they face in their communities.
- Youth-led media and art production with a focus on broad dissemination for the sake of promoting community awareness around public issues while highlighting the positive roles that youth can assume in society.
- Initiatives which focus on collective problem solving, especially by building meaningful cross-cultural, inter-generational , and cross-stakeholder alliances.
We do not generally support leadership development, service-learning and volunteerism without opportunities for social action as described above.
